Becoming a Garage Youth Volunteer!

At Refinery Church, we're aiming to inspire youth to become followers of Jesus.  We want to help families with this by providing amazing environments where they can learn about God's love for them in a community of youth and TRUSTED leaders.  The key word here is TRUSTED!

Safety is at the top of our list when it comes to the those who are entrusted to us at Garage Youth and having a quality team of volunteers is a key part of that.  That's why we've got these 3 important steps that we're asking all potential leaders to go through.

Thank you for taking the time to do this.  If you have any questions during the process, please send me an email (youth@refinerychurch.ca) or call me (780-462-5233).  I'll gladly answer any questions.

Step 1:Let's get to know you a little bit.

We need some background information, references and some insight into where you're thinking of helping out.

Step 2: My Ministry Commitment

We're asking our volunteers to commit to servant leadership, following Jesus and building up the church.

Step 3: Police Information Check

We require Garage Youth volunteers to do a Police Information Check.  It's one more way to protect youth and to help us and parents be confident that we have quality leaders.
